Speed Spa

by Chris Mcbeath

While most people go to spas to relax, there’s a new beauty-on-the-run trend that’s seeing fast-service spa salons catering to time-strapped spa goers.

Quick service hair, nail and makeup outfits are opening up in most major cities, each with a very limited list of pre-chosen looks that are illustrated with photographs, seemingly geared to the point-and-click generation.

It’s the quick-decision factor that appeals.  All guesswork is removed so you can always get an up-to-date look without having to constantly thumb through current pages of Vogue or Chatelaine magazines
